Aims:

• To understand immediate implant placement as a viable treatment option
• To understand the relative advantages of early implant rehabilitation versus delayed protocols

Objectives:

• To understand the appropriate case selection when assessing for immediate implants
• To be familiar with the surgical techniques involved with immediate implants
• To understand the concept of jumping distance in relation to immediate implants
• To understand the reasons for delayed and immediate implant placement
• Use of case examples in applying theory

Development Outcomes - this CPD course meets the criteria for the GDCs development outcome C.

About the speaker:

Reddy has been a Locum Consultant in Oral Surgery at Raigmore Hospital for a number of years. He also serves as a Visiting Consultant at AIG Hospitals  and a Visiting Professor role at the Panineeya Institute of Dental Sciences, both in Hyderabad, India.
