Highland Dental Plan's 30th Anniversary

Highland Dental Plan's 30th Anniversary

Highland Dental Plan celebrated it's 30th Anniversary this year, on Saturday 18th November with an evening for dinner, drinks and reminiscing at Coul House Hotel in Contin.

Just short of fifty guests attended, some of whom were present at the company's inception in 1993, to our current committee members/shareholders. The evening provided the opportunity for a number of old colleagues to catch up and the turnout was certainly testament to the legacy the company has established after all these years.

Coul House Hotel in Contin was picked as the venue for something a little different not too far from Inverness. The evening began with a sociable drinks reception from which guests were piped into dinner by Morag. Our current chairman Neal Drummond then provided grace to begin proceedings and as expected, the hotel staff looked after us all very well, ensuring we were fed and "watered" to our needs. Dinner would be concluded by our guest speaker for the evening, Robert Donald, who as one of the founders of HDP, regaled the audience with an abridged history of the company; a perfect mix of sentiment, humour and simple fond memories.

HDP would like to thank:

- Coul House Hotel for hosting a great event and looking after us all.

- Ian Mantheson and Wrights Dental Group for sponsoring our pre-dinner drinks reception.

- Robert Donald for his after dinner speech and Neal Drummond for grace.

- Morag the piper and Bill the harpist for their musical performances.

- Cara MacFarlane in the office for all the organisation.

Here's to the next thirty years!
